It was a proud moment for all of us when we won the CII Trophy for TQM for bringing about the most significant improvement in Total Quality Management (TQM) for the FY 09-10. This contest invites applicants to submit their business applications on the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), which is a global excellence model to guide businesses to deliver better results by following tested processes.
The award is a part of the CII (ER) Quality Awards and the function was held during the business session of the Annual Regional Meeting of CII at the CII-Suresh Neotia Centre for Excellence at Salt Lake on the 24 of this month. The award was given by Mr. Mukul Somany - departing chairman of CII -Eastern Region and Mr Hari S Bhartia - President of CII.
