The cross functional team helped Coal team to start coal eAuction 1 hour earlier and allowed bidders to deposit their EMD till 1 day before the eAuction (earlier 2 days before the event). This has benefited the bidders by reducing auction time, conducting 2 auctions on the same day and there was shorter capital Blockage.

This team has made special effort to clean the bidder database of about 3000 registered bidders of autojunction. Information has been centrally digitized which has helped the AJ team tremendously.

They have developed global catalog module for coal auctions eliminating the need of pre allocation of bidders to the auction thereby ensuring no unwanted bidders get attached. This has increased the operational efficiency for the coal team & reducing system load considerably.

This team has taken various initiatives for Aditya Birla Group in sourcing materials through eProcurement whereby the group could save Rs. 2.5 Cr. against a TV of Rs. 42 Cr. The client has appreciated the company's effort & this is also paving way for other Birla group companies to sign with us.

She went beyond her usual role to bring major Cost Reduction in Monthly Telephone Expenses of the Branch.
She took the initiative to call all the Telephone Service providers, analyse all the available Tariff Plans and revised the Tariff Plans of all the Telephone lines with multiple service providers to brin
g about a monthly reduction in excess of Rs 8000/- in total Telephone expenditure for the Branch.

He has convinced the entire project division of RSP for routing high value turn-key projects through the company’s RA platform. In FY '08, 6 such cases have been routed through RA & 4 out of the
m (TV Rs. 366 Cr.) has been accepted by RSP. This success at RSP will be showcased at other SAIL plants for maximizing business from projects in FY09.
