Polar Bears under threat of extinction

Wildlife scientists say the accelerated loss of arctic sea ice may cause polar bears to disappear in the next 50 years.

Polar Bears International and the San Diego Zoo has announced a new alliance to establish a conservation program, 'Arctic Ambassadors', that will generate scientific information to support conservation. It will become a vanguard messenger for the polar bear conservation crisis and the threats facing the arctic and the globe due to climate change.
