The coaljunction team along with members from support services reached Vedic village by an AC WBSTC Bus, around 12 noon on December 07, 2007. After a lavish lunch the conference started at 2 p.m.
The opening session was taken by Mr. Vinaya Verma , followed by series of presentations by coal team members. There was also a presentation by Mr. Sanjib Mukherjee on HR initiative & Mr. Dilip Singhal on finance related issues.
In the evening Dart & Archery competition was organised in the open ground.
Winners :
Dart: 1st position – Maulesh Desai, 2nd position – Subasis Dey
Archery: 1st position – Bhanu Prakash Tiwari
From 7 p.m. onwards cocktail dinner started along the poolside. The gang enjoyed the tandoori menu on offer.
On the second day (December 08, 2007) Mr Viresh Oberoi , our MD took us through the future plans of the company & shared his Vision 2012 about mjunction's journey in the next 5 years. This was followed by another round of presentations by various team members. The achievements, failures, future plans of each department were discussed & many suggestions were put across in the Open Session. Mr Vinaya Verma concluded the conference summarizing all the action points.
In the evening, team building games were organised which comprised of Indoor games such as Pool, Air Hockey, TT, Carrom & outdoor games, followed by gala cocktail and dinner. The whole environment reminded of Vedic Age, surrounded by lakes allover & natural beauty and the team enjoyed its stay…
On 9th Dec afternoon………..after a session of Yoga & Cricket – the team went back home - refreshed and rejuvenated.
