Our MD – Mr Viresh Oberoi was invited to share his insights at ‘Coal Connect – Possibilities & Beyond,’ a day-long seminar organised by Coal India Limited (CIL) & the Economic Times. Held at Taj Bengal on November 19, 2007, the seminar tried to address the various challenges that the coal industry is faced with today and find answers to these issues. The seminar was attended by eminent experts including Mr Partha S Bhattacharya - Chairman CIL, Mr Asim Barman - Chairman DVC, Mr K Ranganath - Director Marketing CIL, among others.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Oberoi said “Securing future coal supply and forward price discovery will all be part of the ePlatform that will bring stakeholders together and make coal buying more efficient. This will lead to assured supply and delivery and a complete control on the budget.”
