On a quite Sunday afternoon, August 26, 2007 to be precise, the quiz crazy city of Kolkata decided to raise the bar at the corporate edition of Tata Crucible with some truly outstanding quizzing. Over 150 teams gathered at Taj Bengal for the preliminary round. Team TCS which has dominated the quiz for the last three years at Kolkata made it to the national final, yet again. The "birthday boys" as Pickbrain referred to the Tata Steel team (it is their 100th anniversary) finished Runner up.
The other finalists were from Tata Steel (Team 2), mjunction (consisting of Debasish Mukherjee & Subasis Dey), and two team from Tata Teleservices.
