To bring in efficiency in the activity of purchase, through reduced cycle time and increased savings, TATA Steel has mandated mjunction to deploy its Sourcing KPO services (Purchase Requisition to Delivery of Materials and payment to Vendors) at its OMQ Division. mjunction will be responsible for Sourcing of goods & services in a complete outsourced mode.
This mandate comes after mjunction successfully brought about speed and efficiency to the MRO procurement of TATA Steel Works through its innovative Sourcing KPO services. This has led to substantial reduction in cycle time and head count for TATA Steel.
TATA Steel also achieved savings worth Rs.12 Crores during FY ’07 in the value of materials procured through mjunction.
